Also having variable skills from race car preparation to track support is an added bonus. You must have good communication skills verbally and written, be reliable and have excellent work ethics. We need someone with the ability to learn new skills, be able to work unsupervised and be self motivated. Description: Triple Eight Race Engineering are Australia’s leading V8 Supercars race car constructor.
Experience Required: With the V8SC category transition in 2013 to the new COF (car of the future) chassis platform, a vacancy now exists in our busy fabrication department at our factory in Banyo. The candidate must be a skilled TIG welder used to thin section 4130 steel, 5000/6000 series aluminum alloy and stainless steel 304/321 material. The candidate must be able to operate with the minimum of supervision, but equally be comfortable working as part of a tight knit team during chassis construction. The ability to work to tight deadlines with high accuracy and quality is essential.
